this guitar became the mainstay guitar live during the bulk of the delirious? live career
'74-'76 gibson Les paul goldtop deluxe
Aquired this when Delirious? signed a license deal with EMI/Sparrow Records back in the day. This was the main guitar on Mezzamorphis and sounds incredible
Gibson ES 135
This is my second 135 the first was ran over by an American Airlines baggage truck. This is the "Majesty" guitar but also featured on Our God Reigns and Miracle Maker. I tune this in standard but C to C so almost a baritone.
Fender Telecaster re-issue '72 deluxe
I had p90s put in this and it has a killer tone.
1990's mexican tele
i bought this guitar for the "purple" cutting edge recording and features on songs like lead me and I could sing of your love forever...but really came into it's own on "mountains" and "find me in the river". over the years this has been my frankensteins monster and had many pick ups and customized in various ways
'79 Fender Stratocaster
Given to me by Martin Smith this Strat featured on the Kingdom Of Comfort record and has gone on to be one of my favourite sounding instruments
Veritas Stugio Mk I
Custom built by Casey at Veritas Guitars. This is a Strat/Jaguar Hybrid

Duesenberg Starplayer TV
This guitar came in towards the end of delirious? but quickly became a live mainstay. Sitting somewhere between a Les Paul and a Duo jet. If you've seen me out with OSS in the last few years you've seen this guitar.
Fender Squier Jaguar Bass
In need of a bass I went to Guitar Center and bought this for less than $200. I've not regretted this :
1937 Dobro

McPherson Acoustic
A wonderful sounding guitar especially live
Taylor 8 string Baritone
My friend Dan Boreham who works for Taylor guitars showed me this and as soon as I could I got one. Deep tones with the octave additions...sweet!
Taylor Grand Symphony
Love this smaller bodied guitar the sound is really focussed and records great.
Taylor Grand Concert
A good solid dreadnought style acoustic wide and warm
Taylor nylon
The last couple of years as I've been able, I've been adding guitars to fill the missing gaps. This is a cool addition.
Takamine EF 391
I Bought this in 1986 because it's what Dave Stewart used in the Eurythmics a smaller jazz style acoustic great di'd.
1920's acoustic made in london
Bought this because I loved the sound. It's out of action at the minute because of a crack in the neck after we moved to the USA.
Chris Hughes Petrol Can Guitar
My sister and her husband had this custom made for me by a friend of there's Chris Hughes. It really is made from a hefty old Petrol Can from England. It plays really well! thanks Chris (and Deb and Alan)
Gibson L6s "Buddy" Customised by Rodger Smith
My friend Rodger Smith completely shocked me by giving me this guitar. He found it in a junk shop really beat up and spent a year getting it lovingly restored. He got original designer Bill Lawrence to hand make the pickups and had some incredible artwork crafted.
